We're Getting Married !

We met March 2014 he was working at a local bar. I was invited to come hang out with some friends when I heard someone laughing .I turned around to see this handsome man with a great smile ! At that moment I knew I had to meet him . I worked up the courage to ask him for his number and to make sure he was single. Couple days later we went on our first date and at one point he told me he was too busy to have a girlfriend. So I decided to wait for him to be ready ! One month later he showed up at my door step told me he missed me and from there we made it official April 28th 2014 I became his girlfriend . Soon after we started to travel for vacations, got our first apartment and even started new careers. Our life and love was blooming ! We did have some rocky moments and some loss in our lives but we stuck through it and learned quickly that we still had each other.

June 2015 Jd and my dad went on a golf trip where he asked my dad for permission to marry me! He then waited for the perfect time to propose only then did he realized that with life so unpredictable there never is a perfect time so after waiting over a year he finally decided he would do it on our 3yr anniversary. 2 days prior I had lost my step father to cancer so when the time came jd reached out to his mother to be reassured that it was the right time . April 28th 2017 he came home from work the night of our Anniversary to find me sleeping on the couch he kneeled beside me and told me what I have waited to hear from the moment I met him " would I marry him ? " I did at first compliment how beautiful the ring was then fully realized what was happening. I said Yes!! And this time my tears were happy ones . We are so excited to share our story and lives with you !
