When I first met Brenden, I only knew him as Tuba. This was back in 2017, a few good years before the end of the world. Being in the band with Brenden, I got to know him not only as a section leader, but as a friend as well. One day down the line, I got a message that he finally met someone. From that day on, I never got to hear the end of it. He talked about Jaz constantly. I had hoped it was only a matter of time before I got to meet her. Thankfully, the day did come. Jazmine is a perfect match for Brenden, they fit like puzzle pieces. Over the years, I've got to see them grow together and hope to see them continue for years to come.

Jazmine has been my rock in a hard place ever since we were 9 years old. We shared endless memories from going up north and camping on weekends to having spa days in our bedrooms at 10 years old. Neither Brenden or Jazmine are judgmental people, they’re always there for you and I wouldn’t want anyone else to share my highest highs or lowest lows with.

But as for how we had met, it was a long time ago, on a generation of consoles that have almost no more servers. We had met in a COD lobby, both bullying and talked shit to each other, then, somehow, became friends almost instantly and have been gaming off and on over the last 10+ years.

I met Jazmine when my mom Shannon and her mom Jamie were in college. I have a few memories of when I was younger, like going to the beach with her and swimming in her pool before she became my babysitter and later on, one of my best friends. She would often babysit me 2 to 3 times a week, and at that point I was with her more than my actual siblings. We started actually hanging out when i was about 9, and we have gotten closer ever since. I met Brenden through Jazmine. She would CONSTANTLY be talking about this boy that she had known up at her dads… and I am 100% the reason they are now engaged and getting married, all because I was the one who told them they should date. Here we are now! They would constantly be calling each other and planning to meet up. Ever since they started dating, Brenden has become protective over everything and everyone that Jazmine loves and holds dear. I believe that the two of you could not be more perfect for each other, and I hope you both have the best wedding ever!

I met Brenden when he came to St. Cloud State to audition for a music scholarship. I helped him find a practice room to warm-up in. He was a great tuba player, and I enjoyed getting to talk with him that day. When I saw he was attending SCSU the following year, I was excited to work with him! I was his section leader in the Husky Sports Band and Wind Ensemble. He was always fun to be around, and we had many late night adventures to Taco Bell. After I graduated, we stayed in touch. I am so excited for him and Jazmine!

I met Jazmine at our old job, we became very good friends the day we met, we became even closer throughout the months. she became one of my best friends. She is there when I need her she has a beautiful heart and she is beautiful and amazing. Brenden has an amazing heart and a great personality and I think Jazmine and Brenden are great together. I also believe deep in my heart they are going to be amazing parents!!

I met Brenden, also known as Tuba, in college when he joined the Husky Sports Band. From then on, we became great friends and shared an apartment together with a variety of "unique" roommates. After college, I later met Jazmine at their house-warming party for their new apartment. I'm wishing them the best for their future!

Ever since I was little Jazmine (my sister) was always there for me. When I had nightmares, or if I couldn’t sleep she would sing to me. One day Jazmine Invited someone over who turned out to be Brenden! During this time he taught me how to play the recorder and quickly became my beat boxing buddy. I instantly enjoyed his presence and wanted him to be around more because I saw how happy he made Jazmine. When I heard they got engaged, I was really excited becauseI now get a big brother! He is nice and fun to have around, I love you guys so much CONGRATS!

I first met Brenden in college, circa 2018-19. I had heard stories about him before then, as we had a few mutual friends before I had arrived. I was told that we would get along very well, and that I should meet him. When I joined the SCSU Sports Band, Brenden and I were formally introduced and quickly became friends. I have many fond memories of my time in college with Brenden, from a long and fantastic DnD campaign, to late night benders with copious amounts of liquor and Super Smash Brothers. After I left college to pursue a career at the family business, Brenden and I remained in touch, as we do today. Later on, at a friend's wedding, I met Tuba's then girlfriend Jazmine. While Jazmine and I also got along very well, I do feel quite awkward about our first real meeting involving me wearing a lacy white dress. (Don't ask.) Since then, Tuba, Jazmine, and I have remained wonderful friends, and I can't wait to see what adventures we will continue to have.

Jess has been officiating weddings for four years. She is a third grade teacher in East Bethel. She can’t wait to officially marry Jazmine and Brenden and wishes them a lifetime of memories and laughter. I am a biological, adoptive, and foster mom of 4!
