Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a block of 20 rooms at the Best Western Plus Heritage Rail Inn & Suites located at 140 Leaders Heights Road, York, Pennsylvania 17403. Shuttle service will be provided from the hotel to the farm, as well as return shuttle service to the hotel at the end of the night.

What are my food options?

Answer

We are going a non-traditional route! We will be serving dinner to our guests via food trucks. We have booked Forno Bova Pizza Truck and Vampire Tacos for dinner service, and Sarah's Creamery for all things sweet to follow. Offerings will include: - Tossed salad with shallot-champagne vinaigrette - Antipasto bar with seasonal roasted veggies, hummus, baguette, cheeses and high-quality cured meats - 4 varieties of wood fire pizza - Buffet style chips, salsa and guac (YUM!) - Variety of taco options - Quesadillas - Rice Bowls - Homemade Waffle Cones, Made to Order Chocolate Chunk Cookie Sandwiches, Root Beer Floats, Brownie Sundaes, Cookie Sundaes, and Ice Cream Sundaes

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is relaxed and casual. No need for gowns and tuxes. We want our guests to be comfortable! Shoe wear will be especially important. The farm is sloped and hilly in areas. Please be sure to wear a comfortable shoe for these conditions. Ladies, I would recommend steering clear of high pointed heels.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Free onsite parking is available at the farm. Valet-style greeters will be available to direct you to the appropriate parking area. There are no hour restrictions on the time your vehicle may remain parked on the farm. We simply ask that if you leave a car overnight, please come retrieve it Sunday morning. Uber and Lyft are also available to/from the farm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please plan to make this a date night and arrange for a sitter! While we love and adore your children, we are respectfully requesting that our wedding ceremony and reception be adults only, with the exception of children of immediate family only.
