How will COVID-19 impact the wedding?

Answer

We were extremely excited to celebrate with all of you in one of our favorite places in the world. Unfortunately, the spread of COVID-19 has not slowed like we had hoped it would, it has accelerated. We will still be getting married on August 22, 2020, but only our immediate family and wedding party will be in attendance. This decision breaks our hearts, but is ultimately out of our control. We can't host all of you here knowing the risks we would be asking you to take. We plan to host a party next summer where we can all gather safely and celebrate. In the meantime, we appreciate your understanding and we are so sorry for any inconvenience in planning this has caused you.
