We met at Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School, during a World History Class. On the very last day of class, Ben asked for my phone number. I was so nervous I almost wrote down my mom's number. After that we got to know each other and he officially asked me to be his girlfriend on February 19, 2013. Our first official date was at the Sweetheart dance and we have been in love ever since.

I flew into Baltimore to attend one of Ben's games. He had the weekend off and we had a trip planned to explore New York City. We began the evening by walking around Times Square and eventually made our way to Rockefeller Center to see the famous Christmas Tree. While there, Ben had the idea to take pictures in front of the tree. While taking pictures, he turned to me, got down on one knee, and popped the question! I started crying and of course said YES!
