To our non-Indian friends, we welcome you to join in our culture and dress in Indian attire for all events. The Sangeet is a traditional Indian event, Indian attire would be recommended here. The Baraat is a fun Indian celebration from the grooms side before the wedding that leads you to the wedding. Indian attire would be recommended here for the Grooms guests. An Indian wedding, no matter the time is a formal occasion. Colors you should avoid: white/cream, red, black Options for American attire: linen suits for men, bright summer cocktail dresses for women The Reception will be a mix of formal Indian and formal American attire. Choose what you’d like to dance and have fun in!

Amazon: Search “Indo Western or Lehenga” clothing and have fun! Ladies the easiest outfit style and my personal favorite is the “Lehenga”
Red and black are not recommended for the wedding ceremony for guests.
The Garba in the Gujarati culture is a fun evening celebrating the union of the two families. Everyone dresses in Indian clothes and has a great time enjoying dinner, drinking, mingling and dancing to traditional Gujarati music.
