We'd planned to go to a winery with our friends Sarah and Caleb one weekend in May, so Jay got to work finding out who would be the live entertainment for that day. He reached out to the band and asked them to learn our song, With You I Am by Cody Johnson. We get to the winery and we're just chit chatting (I'm talking about baby poop, of course). Jay asks what I want to drink and hands me the menu. In the background is our song playing. I am clueless, you know... distracted by the riveting baby poop conversation, and start to fan myself with the menu. Then I hear the song and I look up at Jay and say "hey, that's our song!". Jay then points at something on the menu and asks if I think that one sounds good. I look down and there it says "2019 It's About Time 10|31" (which funny enough, is not our anniversary lol) and, mouth open, look up at Jay and start crying, saying "are you serious?" a million times. Jay gets down on one knee, I'm crying, he asks, I say yes! Then I see both our parents coming down the hill towards us! Turns out, they were at the top hiding with the band! It was truly perfect!
