FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jay Pikey and Caleb Ward
If you have any other questions about the wedding please reach out to either Jay or Caleb.
Question

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

Summer cocktail for guests, but the bridal party will be in black tie.

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

No, we invite you to join a kid-free night out at our wedding, so please leave your little ones at home.

Question

Can I Bring a Date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest", then yes. If not, we would prefer it to be just you.

Question

Is There a Smoking Area?

Answer

Yes, there is a designated area, but please be respectful and pick up after yourself.

Question

Will There Be a Bar?

Answer

No, it will be BYOB, so bring whatever you would like to drink and feel free to serve it yourself. We have plenty of space, so you’re welcome to bring a cooler!

Question

Where’s Your Registry?

Answer

We aren't moving into a place of our own yet, so we decided against creating a gift registry. If you would like to gift us something, remember that it’s BYOB! We will however have a Honeymoon/College fund that you can add to at the wedding if you want!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 22nd 2023 through this website. Be sure to RSVP for BOTH the Ceremony and Dinner so you can pick your meal! “No Meal” is an option you can select if you’d rather bring your own food, and don’t forget snacks for later in the night if you’re staying!

Question

When Should I Get There?

Answer

If you’d like some time to mingle or set up at the campsite before the ceremony, you’re welcome to come at 4. The ceremony will be starting at 5.

Question

Is There Parking Available?

Answer

Yes. It’s quite the drive, but there is overnight parking available.

Question

Can I Take Pictures?

Answer

There will be a photographer AND a videographer capturing the ceremony, so during that time we ask that you please keep your electronics away. But after the reception begins, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you want!

Question

Are People Staying Overnight?

Answer

Yes, the venue comes with a campsite that we will have until 11 AM the next day, if you’d like to stay, bring a tent and anything else you might need to camp out. You can drop off your stuff and set up anytime after 4 PM. If you’re staying, don’t forget snacks for later in the night and the next morning!

Question

What’s Happening 9:45-10 PM?

Answer

This will be our “last hoorah”. After that, we will need to do some quick cleaning as the owners of the venue stop by to collect trash and check in. After they’re done, that’s when the after party starts! If you aren’t staying overnight, feel free to leave whenever you’re done partying!
