Out-of-Town Guests

Here are a handful of things to do, eat, see, drink, and hear while you’re in LA if you want to make a bit of a vacation out of the trip. These are all thing that we give our stamp of approval to.

Grand Central Market

317 South Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90013

You won’t find as much good, diverse, food and drink in one place, as you will at GCM. Also, fun fact, this is the location of the first photo that we ever took together.

The Broad

221 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012
, (213) 232-6250

GET SOME CULTURE. This is a pretty amazing modern art museum downtown. HEADS UP: If you want to go, you need tickets, and they book up pretty far in advance!

Griffith Observatory

2800 East Observatory Road, Los Angeles, CA 90027
, (213) 473-0800

Space rules. A very cool place to visit if you have the time. If the only evening that works is the night of our wedding, we’d understand if you go here instead. Seriously.

Verve Coffee Roasters

833 South Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90014
, (213) 455-5991

Want good coffee? Also want some good food? Maybe a place to just hang out and stare? This place checks all three boxes.

Griffith Park

4730 Crystal Springs Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027
, (323) 913-4688

Need a place to go for a run, a hike, or just the good ol’ outdoors- a break from the insanity of our wedding? Head over to Griffith Park.

Jinky's Studio Cafe

4000 Colfax Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 91604
, (818) 308-8418

Anyone coming from the east coast will REALLY appreciate Jinky’s, one of the few- but easily the best- diner in Los Angeles.* *Editor’s note: Not a paid endorsement. May or may not be owned and operated by the family of the bride.

Scientology Missions Int

6331 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028
, (323) 960-3570

Do not go here.

Disneyland Park

1313 Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA 92802
, (714) 781-4636

No, Jason can't get you free tickets.

Howlin' Ray's

727 North Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90012
, (213) 935-8399

The brick-and-mortar Nashville fried chicken shop that is important for a couple of reasons: The wait is usually 2-4 hours (it’s worth it!) and is the home of the best birthday gift Jason ever received from Sasha (or anyone!).

For all the days along the way
