Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Villa la Voya in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors by the pool. Guests will have access to the outdoor terrace and private beach until 10:00PM.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Yes, your presence at our wedding is a gift in itself, we do have a cash only registry located on our wedding website in the registry banner above.

What should I do If I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regret on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

What happens if I don’t RSVP on time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP by the day in which we provided (July 1st), it will be marked as a no. We will miss you celebrating with us however, we must provide total guest count to the venue in a timely manner they have given to us, and they cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. We hope that you understand.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour or half hour before the starting of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time, and we can get the wedding started as scheduled.

What if I’m late?

Answer

Please avoid arriving late so that it will not cause any distraction or interruptions. Our team of wedding coordinators will ask you to wait until the ceremony is over where you will proceed to join guests during the cocktail hour.

When can I book my hotel?

Answer

Yes, rooms can be booked immediately, please refer to the travel tab for further instruction on how to book or click the link below to book now. Will there be Transportation?

Answer

There will be transportation to/and from the wedding venue for all guests staying at the Royalton Chic Cancun. Please see travel section for further details on transportation.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank You for understanding.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones; however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is black tie. We would love to see our friends and family get fancy with us. Ladies should wear floor length dresses, gentlemen should wear suits and ties. Treat our wedding as if you’re attending a gala, PLEASE AVOID JEANS, T-SHIRT AND FLIP FLOPS AT ALL COSTS. Please refer to the top of attire section on our website for inspiration.

Are there any colors that there any colors that the guest should avoid?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing traditional colors reserved for the bride-white, ivory, creams or any other pastel color that resembles white and our wedding party color which is evergreen (dark green).

Can I bring outside alcohol to the venue?

Answer

We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premise.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will open bar all night, please drink responsibly.

How far is the hotel from the wedding venue?

Answer

The Royalton CHIC Cancun is a 60-minute commute to Villa la Joya. Transportation will be provided. Please be at the hotel lobby no later than 3:30PM

What happens after ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for an hour. Guest will be directed to an area near the reception for cocktail hour where they will be serving hor’Dourves and beverages and guests can enjoy entertainment we have curated for them.
