His Story: I was blessed with Mimi's presence for the first time when she came to UMD with her brother to attend an event our mutual friend was hosting. I was amazed by how beautiful she was and knew I would regret if I didn’t say anything to her. Me being the stud that I am, I approached her and got the digits. We kept in touch and began a friendship mainly through text messages and social media interactions. A couple years later, Mimi transferred to UMD and our friendship turned into a romance. We would help each other out with our school work, as well as, personal issues. Once I discovered that her beauty was deeper than her skin, I knew I had to wife her. I noticed I was starting to ditch my friends to hang out with her and before I knew it I was in love. Her Story: One day I was out at UMD with my brother and he took me to an event. I walked in and saw this stud standing across the room and we made brief eye contact. A few minutes later he approached me and introduced himself and we began talking. Later that night we exchanged phone numbers and that was the start of my crush on Jason (but I had to play it cool and not let him know that). We would talk here and there over the years but never anything too serious. Then one day things changed. It was around the time that I was applying to transfer to UMD. I was still home and he was living in College Park at the time. He started to come home almost every weekend, which was pretty strange for a college guy with his own apartment. I slowly began to realize he was coming simply to see me and spend quality time. We talked about our lives, the things we hoped for our futures and our career goals and aspirations. His intelligence and confidence is what drew me to him most. He also was understanding, and willing to be there for me in ways he never had to, but he did because that’s who he is.
