Gold Hill Garden 2325 Gold Hill Rd, Newcastle, CA 95658
The Venue has street visible signage. Once you turn onto the property, follow the driveway as it will curve to the left and slightly incline to the parking area. Once parked, head to the paved sidewalk directly to the right of the Bed N Breakfast. The path will be marked with signage to lead you down to the ceremony area. Along the path, please take a moment to sign our guest attendance item and help yourself to a glass of bubbly or water. Find a seat and enjoy the beautiful scenery until the ceremony begins.
The event restrooms (male and female) are located next to the tented reception area and are marked with signage. The Bed N Breakfast, including the Bed N Breakfast restrooms, are NOT open to the event and event guests.
Wedding guests may arrive at the venue no earlier than 4:30pm day of the event.
The event Venue hours for guest attendance is 4:30pm - 10:00pm.
Transportation to and from the venue is the guests responsibility, however rental car companies are available at the Sacramento airport and multiple Ride Share companies service the area.
There is not a block of rooms reserved for the Hill-Guth wedding. Many guests have voiced the desire to stay in less traditional accommodations than a Hotel. Guests have looked into nearby Bed and Breakfasts, Air BnB's, and general Hotel searches in a 20 mile radius of the venue zip code (95658).
Historically, Newcastle and the surrounding areas in late April are in the mid 80's during day light hours and mid 60's almost immediately after the sun sets. As the saying goes "April showers bring May flowers"... this in mind, there is always a slight chance of spring light showers, but the venue does offer a large tented reception area for such an occurance.

We have a gift registry in the form of a "Honeymoon Fund". If you wish to gift a dollar amount, please click on the Registry tab on the upper border of this page and it will direct you to the fund registry link. The honeymoon will be Mid-May 2024 in Cancun, Mexico.
Amuse-bouche will be offered during cocktail hour. We will have a "His" whiskey cocktail and a "Hers" gin cocktail offered during cocktail hour and then beer and wine available the remainder of the event. Non-alcohol beverages will be offered throughout the event as well. The diner will be a street taco bar with all the fixings to build your own chipotle chicken or carne asada tacos. There will be a couple salad options, beans and rice, and chips with salsa and guacamole. Desert will be pettifor cakes, chocolate covered strawberries, and a doughnut bar. Coffee service will be offered with desert.
There will be a variety of lawn games, a DJ to keep the party vibes going and the dance floor full, and a bounce house for age appropriate children (at their parents discretion).
We will have a photographer and videographer the duration of the wedding. Once we have received the edited photos and videos, we will share them on this website on the Gallery tab on the upper border of this page. The estimated turn around for photos and videos is 6 weeks after the event. When you RSVP, be sure to provide your current email address and opt into notification for wedding updates. #HillYeahWeDo2024 Any photos you capture on your smart phones and share to social media, please use our wedding hash and virtually share our wedding memories.
Children (<12 years of age) are welcome to join in our celebration under the supervision of an adult guardian as there is an open running creek on the property near the ceremony area and a pool on property near the reception area with no lifeguard on duty. Children are welcome at our wedding, but we understand that some friends and family will be leaving their little ones at home and treating our wedding as an opportunity to have a "date night" but on a slightly larger scale. We understand the importance of date nights and completely respect this decision as well.
