There I was. Just moved back to my home state. Hanging out with friends, making new ones. One day I was told there was a guy I should meet. He knew a lot of my friends and we would probably get along. So at Green Mountain Cabaret, an unlikely spot to meet someone, there we were. I had been told that I was meeting someone who I might like to date. He had been told...nothing. His yenta forgot to mention there was a reason he needed to come that night. After spending the night "enjoying the view", we went to the after party. And spent the whole night talking. Then I friended him on facebook and waited...and waited. Until his yenta showed up at my house. "You know if you are going to yenta, you need to get going." And it was then I found out the sudden halt was due to surgery. And that started the chats. We chatted often and after a bit of time we finally went out on a date. Dinner and a movie. And through our mutual awkwardness we found out that we were very similar. And the rest is history.
