We met back in the summer of 2015 when we were both working at a local dine-in movie theater. On Jason's first day a coworker introduced us and two days later we decided to hang out after work--from there we became very close friends and spent basically every day together for the rest of the summer. We quickly realized that we had an undeniable bond and the years of us being "just best friends" commenced...cut to fall of 2022 Jason finally wised up

In May of 2023 we bought our first house together, and started building a home. I had been telling Jason that I wanted to take some self timer family portraits with the dogs to hang on the walls—unbeknownst to me Jason already had a ring picked out and took this as his opportunity to plot the proposal. He arranged a relaxing day at home, complete with a steak dinner but before we sat down for dinner we were going to take pictures on the back porch as the sun was setting. Jason’s sneaky self even suggested that in addition to taking self timer photos we should set the iPad up to record a video so we could screenshot candids if needed! Unsuspecting little me was posing away enjoying the moment and then next thing I knew, my handsome man was down on one knee with tears in his eyes, asking me to be his forever!!!
