Our Engagement - Sunday, December 14th, 2025
Jason and Ayla's story began on a day already filled with significance—the Bride’s grandfather’s birthday, October 24th, 2024. From their very first meeting, a quiet spark blossomed into a relationship grounded in faith, genuine friendship, and unwavering devotion. On a crisp December evening the following year, Jason led Ayla to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden for an unforgettable evening that would forever be a part of their love story. Beneath the glow of the Arboretum’s beloved 12 Days of Christmas exhibition, the couple wandered through illuminated gardens and a picturesque European Christmas village before arriving at the Swan Gazebo. There, seven swans glided gracefully around an icicle fountain. Long admired as symbols of fidelity, devotion, and lifelong partnership, the swans provided a fitting backdrop for the moment that followed. As "White Christmas" played softly in the distance, the gardens shimmered with light, creating an atmosphere that felt both enchanting and timeless. Wrapped in a Russian fur designed by her mother, Ayla stood surrounded by beauty, tradition, and the magic of the season as Jason asked her to spend forever by his side. It was a proposal filled with meaning—a perfect reflection of the enduring love, faith, and commitment that form the foundation of their relationship. In that moment, under the twinkling lights and among the swans that symbolize eternal love, Jason and Ayla celebrated not just a proposal, but the beginning of a lifetime together- a love story as timeless, elegant, and radiant as the evening itself. The engagement perfectly reflected the romance, tradition, and enduring devotion that define their love story. Jason and Ayla will be married on Saturday, December 5th, 2026 in the Sanctuary at St. Andrew Methodist Church, followed by a formal reception at The Windsor at Hebron Park.
