Considered Mexico's culinary capital and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Oaxaca is known for its rich flavors, vibrant arts & culture, and warm hospitality. We are thrilled to celebrate our wedding with you and to experience the magic of Oaxaca together.

One fateful night, Ale and Jason were at a mutual friend's birthday party in Houston, TX. Jason was instantly smitten with Ale, who played it cool before finally giving Jason her number. Soon thereafter, they found themselves hanging out any chance that they got - having "cheesy" Valentine's dates (i.e. with a carefully curated cheese board), making memories at electronic/indie music shows, and fostering small animals together.

Fast forward, and Jason found himself in Palo Alto, CA for postdoctoral studies. After a year of long-distance, Ale joined Jason in California, completing her Master's in Education at Stanford and teaching 2nd grade. Ale and Jason live happily with their dog (Lola Bean, 15) and cats (Potato, 13; Chickpea, 5), as they continue to create memories, explore new music & culture together, and grow stronger with each other (literally - by powerlifting in their home gym). Ale and Jason are thrilled to tie the knot and celebrate their future with you - our friends, family, and dearest people in our lives.
