We met here at a Cubs game on September 24, 2016. If the Cubs are in town, plan to attend a game. Be ready because all restaurants and bars are open and packed with those who attended the game or just visitors. Wrigley Stadium is the 2nd oldest stadium in the US and just a great experience for baseball.
A must if you are limited on time but this is by far our favorite thing to do when we have visitors. You can't go wrong with any of these companies. They also have different meeting locations around the city so you can check out other places. 1. Wendella Tours & Cruises (https://www.wendellaboats.com) 2. Shoreline Sightseeing (https://www.shorelinesightseeing.com/) 3. Chicago River Boat Architecture Tours (http://www.architecturetourchicago.com/) 4. Chicago Seadog River & Lake Architectural Tour (https://www.cityexperiences.com/chicago/city-cruises/chicago-river-lake-architecture-boat-tour/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=google-listing-chicago-architecture)
This is right across from the reception. Another pit stop we made on the weekend we met. Very iconic Chicago landmark. Located right on Michigan Ave which is the main street you will want to walk on to do more sight seeing.
One of Jasmine's favorite things to do to get around the city. Ride the bikes through Millennium Park to Grant Park to Museum Row then up on Lake Shore walking / bike path towards Navy Pier. If you are even more adventurous ride the bikes along the many bike paths on the streets.
Another place that has a lot of meaning to the two of us. We went here the weekend we met and this is the place where Tim proposed. The park is free. If you would like to check out the views where Tim proposed head over to Cafe Brauer and find the bridge over South Pond.
The day we met we brought our friends and family (Camille) here after a day in Wrigleyville. Great deep dish which is a must while visiting Chicago.
Located in the iconic Hancock Tower. The weekend we met we came here to soak in the views. This place also has the 360 Chicago Observation Deck. This is a great place to and walk since it is at the top of Michigan Ave and is part of the Magnificent Mile shops.
Many know this as the Sears Tower. This place has been renovated and offers lot of food options. Many visitors come to check out Skydeck and walk out on the Ledge. This building is also located right next to Tim's office with Goldman.
