Things To Do

The High Line

New York, NY 10011
, (212) 500-6035

The High Line makes for a great West Side exploration walk. You can walk from the Meatpacking District at 14th Street to Hudson Yards, with stops in between. You can also enter on 23rd street at 10th Avenue. If you’re exploring the Meatpacking district try Seraphina’s or Chelsea Market. The Standard Hotel has a great oyster bar and beer garden. If you’re exploring Hudson Yards, you’ll see the Vessel and a mall filled with luxury shopping. Go to Little Spain and try the patatas bravas with a Sangria! You won’t be disappointed :)

Chinatown & Little Italy

67 Mott Street, New York, NY

Chinatown and Little Italy are across the street from each other. Big Wong (67 Mott Street) is our favorite restaurant (but bring cash, it’s cash only), Wo Hop and Peking Duck house are oldies and goodies as well! Though there are tons of places to eat, make sure to try a Ube pastry (purple yam and so delicious!) at Keki Modern Cakes (79 Mott street). Bubble Tea and roast pork buns are not to miss either. For a fun speakeasy with interesting drinks head to Apotheke (9 Doyers street) Across the street in Little Italy choose from a myriad of awesome outdoor dining places and have an espresso and people watch. Check out La Bella Ferrara and say Hi to our girl Liz :) she turned us onto the almond Italian Soda and it’s to die for!

Broadway Show

Broadway is Back! Woooo hooooo! You can find discounted tickets with the link or try TKTS for day of tickets. https://www.nytix.com/discount-broadway-tickets

Warm up with some hot Chocolate, ice skate or check out the Holiday Market. Check out the beautiful New York Public Library and historic architecture of Grand Central Terminal. Make sure to hit the “whispering corner”. Stand with your ear right up against the tile work in the domed intersection of walkways on the lower floor of Grand Central Terminal and you'll discover a secret: a corner-to-corner whispering gallery. The gallery sits below the main concourse, right outside the popular Oyster Bar restaurant. All you have to do is simply face one of the four archway corners and speak softly into it.
