It is extremely important to them both that they have the chance to still celebrate with all of their most cherished family and friends. The two have scheduled a welcome event and a post celebration event the day after the ceremony. Darci, the cali girl from El Monte, California meets Jasmine, the midwestern gal from Gary, Indiana. It was truly a 21st century dating experience, but with a twist. This infectious connection started during covid on July 7, 2021. Quarantined in her room due to covid, Jasmine decided to take her chances and sign up for a dating app. Lo and behold, Darci’s profile was one of the first to come up as a potential match. Jasmine noticed how infectious her smile was and the strong resemblance she had to her childhood crush “Rosario Dawson”. Jasminè thought to herself, this must be a catfish because there was no way a woman so beautiful could be single so she swiped left dismissing her profile. Instantly regretting this decision, she told herself if she had the opportunity to come across her profile again, it must be fate and she would have the courage to write her. As fate stands, the very next day she came across her profile and she sent Darci this beautiful message thanking her for sharing her smile with the world. To her surprise, Darci replied a couple days later and since then, the two have been inseparable. They quickly noticed how much they had in common, as they exchanged interests, experiences, fears, and future goals. Shortly after exchanging contact information, Darci asked Jasmine out for lunch and the two sat and talked for hours. Jasmine was so captivated by Darci's charming personality, and Darci was enamored by Jasmine's energy and the ability to make her feel safe. A few dates later, Darci looked to Jasminè and said, you have to meet my mom because I'm going to marry you one day. Jasmine smiled and was intrigued by her confidence, not knowing just how serious she was. Fast forward, these two soulmates went on to make many memories! They went on their first road trip together crossing over 10 states, Jasminè succeeded her goal in losing 157 lbs, and Darci graduated with her degree in Psychology. In addition, they have successfully built a fast growing cosmetology business. As they continued to get to know each others families, it has been a pleasure merging and blending them together. They both feel so extremely blessed to have had some of the best support from the people they love.

The year of 2022 was epic for this fresh, young and in-love couple. During the month of Jasmine's 31st birthday, Darci planned a surprise trip to San Diego for a proposal of a lifetime. Jasmine simply thought it was just a birthday trip, and was excited to celebrate with the love of her life. Darci surprised her with a whole new wardrobe and secretly invited some of their close family and friends to be a part of this memorable moment. After Darci privately asked for the blessing of her family and close friends, she began planning this epic proposal. When they arrived in San Diego, Darci had planned a week full of special activities leading up to the day of the proposal. The morning of February 27th, Darci was running around anxiously preparing the last minute touches for their unforgettable night. She told Jasmine they were going to dinner later that evening, but first they had to make a pit stop at the historic Balboa Park. Darci created an enchanted storyline about a mystical wishing well, where if couples made a wish in this well, together they would last a life time. As they walked through balboa park, Jasmine started crying simply because she was so grateful for having a love like Darci. They came up to a beautiful pavilion where the stairs were lit up with candles leading up to a beautiful heart made out of rose petals. Darci then asked Jasminè to take a picture inside of the heart, but Jasmine was hesitant because she didn't want to ruin somebody else's work of art. When Jasmine finished striking her pose, she then asked Darci for a picture. As soon as Jasmine walked away, Darci began to get down on one knee. With a violinist to set the mood, Darci began to tell Jasmine how much she loved her and wanted to spend the rest of her life with her. Jasmine of course said YES with lots and lots of tears in her eyes, and fell to her knees. What a great night surrounded with family and friends! The best part - Jasmine was clueless the entire proposal. Darci pulled it off and they went into the beginning of the year as an engaged couple.
