The Wedding Website of Jasmine Sievert and Brian Morris
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal attire. We kindly request that all guests wear black. Black is a classic and timeless color that will ensure everyone looks their best on this special day. Please note: It is also acceptable for men to be in a white button up and dark-colored jacket. Dark gray and navy are also acceptable colors for all.

Question

What is semi-formal attire?

Answer

Semi-formal attire for a wedding typically includes dresses or dress pants with a blouse for women, and a suit or dress pants with a button-up shirt and tie for men. Other options for women may include dressy skirts or dressy jumpsuits, while men may opt for a blazer with dress pants instead of a full suit. Please avoid overly casual clothing such as jeans or sneakers.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We kindly request that our wedding be adults-only, aside from those children in the wedding party. We would like to create an environment where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves without any disruptions. We understand that this may be inconvenient for some of our guests, but we hope you can respect our wishes. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Can guests bring a plus-one?

Answer

Thank you for your interest in bringing a guest to our wedding celebration. However, we kindly request that only guests with a plus one listed on their invitation bring a guest to the wedding. This allows us to manage our guest list and ensure that we are able to provide the best experience for everyone in attendance. We hope you understand and still choose to join us in celebrating our special day. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We ask all guests to arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before the ceremony. Unfortunately, those who arrive after the wedding ceremony has started will not be able to be seated due to strict church policy.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We want to make sure that everyone has a chance to enjoy a drink, so we have allocated a certain amount of funds toward the bar. Once that amount has been used, we kindly ask that guests pay for their own drinks. Cash and cards will be accepted.

Question

How long will the ceremony last?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to last for 30 minutes from start to end.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will take place indoors.

Question

When will the reception end?

Answer

There will be a photo-op exit around 9 p.m. with the bride and groom outside the venue. Afterward, guests are welcome to leave or remain until midnight on the dance floor.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue and reception hall?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot for guests at the church for the wedding ceremony as well as a parking lot at the reception hall venue.

Question

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

While we have not blocked a specific hotel for our wedding guests, we want to ensure that everyone is comfortable and has a place to stay. We recommend that guests choose accommodations that suit their individual needs and preferences, whether that be a hotel, Airbnb, or another option. If you need any recommendations in the area, please don't hesitate to reach out to us! We're more than happy to provide suggestions based on our own experiences and what we know about the area.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

While we appreciate your excitement to capture memories of our wedding day, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture the moments of the day, and we want to ensure that everyone is fully present and able to enjoy the moment without any distractions. We will make sure that our photographer captures all the important moments, and we'll be more than happy to share those photos with you after the wedding. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us make our wedding day as special as possible!

Question

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

The easiest and most convenient way to RSVP is through our Zola website. We have set up a digital RSVP page where you can RSVP for yourself and any guests you're bringing, select your meal preferences, and provide any other relevant information. To access the RSVP page, simply follow the link we provided in your invitation or on our wedding website. If you have any issues or questions regarding the RSVP process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're more than happy to help!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline is June 2nd. This deadline is necessary to ensure that we have an accurate headcount for the ceremony and reception, and we want to make sure that everyone is accommodated properly. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any guests who miss the RSVP deadline. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we do have a registry. We've included a link to the registry on our Zola website, and you can easily access it by clicking on the 'Registry' tab. We've chosen items that we think will help us build our new life together, and we would be thrilled if you would consider selecting a gift from our registry. However, please know that your presence on our special day is the greatest gift of all. If you prefer to give a different type of gift or something that's not on our registry, we welcome anything you choose to give. The most important thing is that we get to celebrate with you on our wedding day!

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table and card box for your convenience.
