It all started in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Ali could not hold water.. he slipped up plenty of times informing me this was going to happen. In my mind, I knew it was going to happen before leaving Broken Bow which meant I had 2.5 days to go. Me waiting patiently, he got on one knee and called my name while at his family’s cabin and I said no Ali they are going to be mad at you. We went back to our cabin and all he could do is down one drink after the next. Fast forward, he played a particular song and called me to the front and got on one knee and poured his heart out. It was so romantic and loving. I could re-live this moment over and over! I said YES and our journey began from that moment forward, nothing else mattered!
