We met at church when Jaschon came home from his mission. We were introduced to each other by our parents and set plans to go to the young single adult's activities together, where we got to know each other and started going on dates! Little by little, we fell in love!

The weekend of our proposal, we went with Jaschon's brother to explore Whidbey Island where they grew up. Sunday morning of the trip, Schon and I went on a small hike up Ebby's Landing, the most breathtaking waterfront bluff to as I thought "study scriptures". As we were hiking up the bluff, we found a small outlook over the water and we took a pit stop to check it out. As we stand admiring the water Jaschon taps me and and begins to get down on one knee. I gasp! and then he said JUST KIDDING! I was so shocked haha. I surely thought the that would've been the moment. Schon thought it was hilarious and I was only slightly amused haha. Little did I know that waiting for me at the top of the bluff would be the real proposal! It was the most beautiful and romantic beach set-up and I was completely caught of guard! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Richland!
