🤎 Jarrod fell for Sam the first time he saw her. No, really--when Jarrod spotted Sam he was walking up the bleacher steps at the Linden softball field and he tripped, spilling his nachos all over himself. Jarrod was at the field with a friend, one who happened to be a mutual friend of Sam's. He asked their friend for more details as he scraped the cheese off his shirt. He knew he had to pursue the woman he fell so quickly for. 🤎 On July 6th, 2017, Jarrod messaged Sam. Their conversation was natural, like old friends picking up where they had left off. From then on, the two talked constantly--sharing their lives and learning to lean on one another for support and for happiness. 🤎 The pair had become great friends over text, but it was the night at The Range that would change their lives forever. Sam had spent a long day at Lake Hogan and ended up with friends at a bar in Valley Springs--The Range. The driver for the night had a little too much fun and Sam was stuck without a way home. She needed a driver and a friend so she turned to Jarrod, who she knew lived nearby. 🤎 When Jarrod showed up wearing his cowboy boots, trusted jeans, and a Westpoint firefighting shirt something changed. Call it love, call it fate, but whatever it was Sam knew she was in trouble. There was no way they were going home now. With a quick order of 5 tequila shots, their night at The Range began. 🤎 The night consisted of tequila, pool, and dancing. It was the chance they needed to feel the chemistry that was shared over text come to life. And it did. They had the time of their life and when closing time came at The Range the two weren't ready to say goodnight. They called on their mutual friends to keep the night going. The group drove back to Sam's home turf, snuck into the high school pool, and took a moonlight dip. Their life together began that night and they've fallen for each other time and time again.
