If you are here on July 4th, be sure to watch or run the spectacle known as the Peachtree Road Race. You'll see 50,000 of your closest friends running the race! Numbers/Bibs are available but won't last much longer!
We love the Braves and there's no better way to celebrate the July 4th weekend than watching the Braves live! The Braves play the SF Giants on July 4th in the evening and the Phillies on Friday evening 7/05 and Sunday afternoon 7/07. There is a group of family and out-of-towners going with the bride and groom on Thursday night, July 4th. They'll be sitting in section 142. Get some tickets and join the fun! Let the bride or groom know if you are coming on July 4th.
One of our favorite burger bars, M&J has been serving burgers and beer for over 70 years!
Great place to run, walk, bike or just meet friends.
Lucia's mom and dad recommend!
Another favorite of Lucia's parents. Located in Buckhead, just north of midtown.
Get out and explore Atlanta's urban neighborhoods and its history by bicycle! Highly recommended.
If you are staying in midtown, you'll be just a short walk from Piedmont Park, a 200+ acre park in the midst of midtown. Great for exercise and relaxation. There's a farmer's market on Saturday mornings.
Adjacent to Piedmont Park is ABG. Check out some of the exhibits and what's blooming in our semi-tropical heat and humidity.
One of Atlanta's first public spaces, free and open to everyone, and final resting place for many of Atlanta's famous citizens. A fabulous place to visit.
Need some retail therapy? Last minute wardrobe change before the wedding? Plenty of shopping and eating here at PCM, which is easily accessible from the Beltline and/or by car.

Lucia's parents always recommend this place as a thoughtful place to visit.
Jarrod's brothers' favorite place -- thus far -- in Atlanta.
More retail therapy on the Westside. A great place for food and drink also.
Part sports bar, part driving range.... Top Golf is entertainment for anyone wanting to swing a golf club.
Have you caught the pickle ball bug? Be sure to check out this new "compeatery" -" a place to compete, eat, drink and be social".
Located in the historic building recently renovated as the Hotel Clermont, Tiny Lou's (and its (in)famous sister The Clermont Lounge) is a bright star on the Atlanta restaurant scene. You won't be disappointed.
Lucia's mom says the best almond croissants in Atlanta are here! Arrive early for delicious baked breakfast goodies. A few different locations and also at some farmers markets, but the treats don't last long.
Good place for brunch in midtown area.
Traditional brunch menu in Buckhead. Quiet neighborhood cafe.
If you can't resist the pull of Buckhead, this is a Geddes favorite for brunch or lunch. It and any of its sister Buckhead Life Restaurant Group eateries are reliable and tasty, day or night.
Need a good, old fashioned southern breakfast? Look no further.
Another breakfast spot. You can't make a reservation, so go early or be prepared to wait in line.
If you want to get out of Midtown....
