Jarrad and Lauren met back in 2017 at their hometown bar in Folsom, CA. Jarrad saw this beautiful girl (yes we can confirm it was in fact Lauren) from across the bar at good ole’ Scarlett’s and decided to take a chance. His bad humor and good looks must have charmed her because soon enough the two were chatting about school, hobbies, mutual friends, and life goals. J remembers how beautiful and funny Lauren was, he even remembers the black leather jacket she was wearing! This was the last time they would see one another for a few years as they left the bar that night forgetting to get each others number. Fast forward to 2020, the Covid Era, Jarrad and Lauren decided to give online dating a go…cause why not! In true Jarrad fashion, when he came across Lauren’s profile he sent her a message with as many jokes as he could think of!! Again, Lauren must have been won over by his humor because she messaged him back, and the two began an online romance. Lauren doesn’t recall much about that night back in 2017, including meeting Jarrad, but Jarrad definitely remembered Lauren and was excited to finally be taking her on a proper date. Covid dating posed a unique challenge as everything was closed, so it required them to get creative. Lauren and Jarrad agreed on a drive thru Starbucks date and a walk around the park in the fresh air (6 feet apart of course because we love our grandparents). The two hit it off, shared lots of laughs and smiles, and it didn’t take long for them to start dating. They quickly became inseparable, a couple of best friends!! All Jarrad and Lauren wanted was to be with the other, whether they were going on trips together or just hanging at home on the couch. As the relationship progressed, they knew how special and powerful the love they shared was and that each had met their soulmate. Jarrad popped the question in Los Angeles on April 8th, 2022, and Lauren said…Maybe!! Just kidding, of course she said YES!! They were both so happy! It was the best day ever and they spent the weekend celebrating in Disneyland, complete with matching “newly engaged” hats..Jarrad loved them! Thankfully for Jarrad he is learning the “happy wife, happy life” lesson early!
