The time has come...

Many many moons ago we met at Rolling Acres Middle school. We had the same group of friends so we hung out often. I was a year older than Jared so I graduated and moved to Richwoods High School but we still saw one another. The following year Jared and our group of friends graduated and moved to Richwoods. Jared and I dated briefly in highschool but then he had to move away. We didnt talk to one another for a few years as we lost contact. We finally got back in contact with one another about 6 years ago and here we are today...planning our wedding!

We have a unique family and we love every bit of it. As everyone knows we both have been married in the past and have a child(ren). Combined we have 4 children and will not be having anymore. Our life is everything but simple but that's what we love most! We never have a dull moment between school, work, running errands, vacations and extra curricular activities we are always on the go. We will do anything and everything for our little people and to make sure they are happy and have everything they need. As you all know we have some serious moments but most the time we are having fun and being crazy. Our family saying is " you can't be serious ALL the time"!

When we started hanging out again we were very adamant about not letting our children know and not introducing them to one another unless we knew this would be a for sure thing because we didn't want to bring people in and out of their lives. So after dating for 4 months we decided we could introduce the kids to one another and see how things went. Things were going well, the kids adored Jared as he adored them and Mason adored me and I did him. So one day Jared came over and went downstairs with the kids. They told me to take my shower then come down. When I went down the kids were all holding a sign that spelled out "will you be mine"? Jared sat down and talked with all 4 kids and asked how they would feel about us being boyfriend and girlfriend and when they were on board he had them make signs and made sure they were included! When he decided he was going to ask me to marry him he again sat down with the kids and made sure they would be ok with it. He had it arranged to where they went to grandma and grandpa's the night before so they could bake a cake and quietly come to the place where the proposal would go down. This meant the world to me that he made sure all the kids were involved and considered their feelings before any big steps!
