The attire for this occasion is formal. Please note that our venue is on top of a mountain, so when selecting your outfit, please account for lower temperatures. Additionally, we suggest wearing layers so as not to get overheated while boogying down on the dance floor :-)
To allow guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day grown-ups only (besides immediate family such as nieces/nephews and cousins). We appreciate your understanding!
The ceremony (approximately 30 minutes) will be held outdoors on a terrace. Dinner and the reception will be held indoors.
House Mountain holds two venues: House Mountain Inn and Irvine Estate. Our venue is Irvine Estate; it is the upper venue on top of the mountain. Please follow the signs to ensure that you arrive at the correct venue, as there will be another wedding held at the other site.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at Irvine Estate.
Because of early sunsets in November, our timeline has been crafted to ensure adequate sunlight for the ceremony and cocktail hour. We ask guests to be seated by 3:30 p.m. with the ceremony beginning promptly at 3:45 p.m.
In order for the buses to pick up our guests at the three reserved hotels and arrive to the venue on time for the ceremony, the buses must start shuttling guests earlier than the standard hotel check-in times. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. At this point, the hotels cannot guarantee early check-in this far in advance; however, they may be able to accommodate early check-ins closer to the wedding date. Please call your hotel as the date nears to see what accommodations can be made. Guests may also opt to leave their belongings in their car, ride the shuttle to and from the wedding, and check in to their room when the shuttles arrive back to the hotels at the end of our celebration.
