HER VERSION It was a cold, lonely January when I downloaded Bumble as a joke to find a date to my brother’s wedding…that night I came across a guy who’s dog’s name was Pickles and I needed to know more. Jared picked me up for our first date where I infamously ordered 1 taco, and HE infamously drove me down a dark, closed road as a stranger from the internet. From the early days of our easy nightly walks on the riverwalk to navigating pregnancy and a newborn, Jared has been my constant and my purpose. We fell quickly and our story has been far from traditional but I knew he was the man God made for me as he has honored, respected, and loved me so well every single day. After seeing him become a Dad to our sweet Harper I have no doubt that I chose the greatest man to be my forever. HIS VERSION Back in October 2021 I set out on a trip from Tennessee to Florida. I had decided it was time to come home and finally put some roots down. Along the way I had this overwhelming feeling that God was telling me this was where I needed to be, but more than anything that my soulmate and future was waiting for me when I got there. God finally showed me who that was in Kali a few short months later. We met the old fashion way, on a dating app lol. We got tacos together and the rest was history. Our journey has been a unique one to say the least with the addition of Harper Shae, but through it all Kali has been my best friend, my support, and the person I fall for more and more every day. Loving her has been the easiest thing I’ve ever had to do. I thank God every day for pushing me to come home.
