It’s Finally Happening!!!

It was Christmas Eve 2021, we were getting ready to head out for our Christmas Eve plans. Gerzon had 2 presents wrapped for me, he said I could open one present at home before we left and the second one on Christmas day .  We sat next to our Christmas tree and I opened my first gift.  Little did I know it would be an engagement ring. He didn’t wrap it in a traditional ring box, so I never saw it coming. At first I didn’t believe it, I wasn’t sure what I was looking at.  Once I realized what was happening, he reassured me that it was happening. His words were beautiful and perfect, and then he asked "WILL YOU MARRY ME"  it was such a beautiful moment for both of us.  I said Yes, cried, hugged and kissed him. And then just like that, we were engaged. It was intimate and he spoke from his heart and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It was a special moment we both will remember forever.
