We did what the popular thing to do amongst this day and age is where you look to the internet to find that connection with someone. This didn't seem as promising as we had hoped at first while having communication with other people, but nothing ever flourishing from it. Then one day swiping left repeatedly, we took a chance on right (cue ABBA "take a chance on me") with each other and to my surprise as he asked me if I recognized him. With some inspection I recalled that we went to East Hamilton together but never crossed paths back then. This was promising for me to establish that he wasn't a serial killer with a kind face. He asked me on a formal date to dinner; from our initial meeting at Scotties on The River we felt comfortable and at peace with one another. From then we had the longest first date ever and walked around downtown Chattanooga talking about anything and everything, making our way across the Walnut Street bridge to our sacred bench that 2 years later would become the start of our happily ever after. Flash forward to the present where we have grown so much together and want to take this next step with our closest friends and families there to witness a lucky couple marry their soul mate. We are excited to continue this journey and have you guys with us along the way, see you all there-- we hope y'all are practicing your best dance moves💃🏻
