Chris and I met on the Saluda River on the 4th of July two years ago. After a full day on the river, I knew he was someone special. A few life changes and several weeks of constant communication later, I said yes to dinner at our favorite restaurant (Chicora Alley). Chicora became our spot and Chris quickly became my person. Fast forward to October, we went out of town to Savannah, GA. I knew after that weekend that he would be my forever and life with him has been incredible ever since.

In April of this year, Chris and I drove across the country to Moab, Utah to achieve his dream of completing some of the most famous trails in the off-roading world. On April 19th, our group took on a challenging trail and climbed to the Top of the World viewpoint. The views were breathtaking so of course I had to take advantage of the photo opportunities. I asked one of the girls to take our picture together, but Chris had other plans. He got on one knee and asked me to marry him, to which I said "yes, of course I will".
