We met in 2015 and began dating January 31st, 2016 and have been inseparable since. We love our love story… the ups, the downs, the twists and turns, the love that keeps us together through it all. We love looking back to the day we met, remembering all the sweet moments that are forever in our heart. We love knowing that time has made us stronger and brought us even closer together. And when we think of tomorrow, wondering what our love story will hold, we know it will be wonderful, for we’ll be sharing it together🤍

Joey planned a surprise proposal that happened on August 16th 2021. We first had dinner at Joe Muer in the Renaissance center in Detroit, which was amazing.. but something seemed off. Joey wouldn’t make eye contact with me and we barley spoke which is very unusual! After dinner we headed outside to the river front for a nice walk. This is when I then noticed a guy sitting on the ground with a puppy (I thought it was a homeless man lol) As I went to pet the puppy I noticed it was our dear friend Nick and the dog had a note on him that said “my new dad has a question for you.” I then looked to my left and Joey was down on his knee proposing!! After I said yes I realized he had a photographer there to capture the moment and friends/family members came running out from behind a near by wall congratulating us after they got to watch the proposal❤️ Joey and I couldn’t be happier! We are so obsessed with our little fur baby Whiskey🤍
