We look forward to seeing all our friends and family traveling from NYC and beyond (Hudson Valley friends: as we celebrate with you frequently, we will see you at the wedding!) for a drink and a bite at this favorite watering hole on Newburgh’s historic Liberty Street, across the street from George Washington’s Revolutionary War Headquarters.
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Walking shoes and sunscreen!
Many of you recall Janet started her career as a public art consultant placing large scale sculptures in public spaces. Storm King Sculpture Center is a massive sculpture park less than 20 minutes away from Newburgh that features some of the world’s best large scale sculpture, including work by Alexander Calder, Mark DiSuvero, Alice Aycock, Andy Goldsworthy and more. Check out the website at www.stormking.org. A Saturday morning tour will be scheduled that will leave more than enough time to get ready for the wedding. Please RSVP as we will need to order both entrance and parking tickets in advance.
4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Ladies: Colorful outfits and your dancing shoes! Heels discouraged. (The party barn is down a dirt road and in an open field.) Gentlemen: Jackets encouraged, ties not necessary. Your dancing shoes too!
