It all started in typical millennial fashion when a guy and a gal matched on Hinge, the dating app designed to be deleted đ For those of you who know Janessa, she was very close with her Grandma (Mama) who passed away in 2012. Because of their special relationship, Janessa has always had such a soft spot for grandparents, and especially anyone who has a special relationship with their *own* grandparents⊠One of Christianâs pictures on his Hinge profile was of him and Oma (his Grandma), Easter 2014. Hook, line, and sinkerâJanessa âlikesâ the photo and the next thing you know theyâre on their first date at Harryâs Bar & Tables in Westport. They both agree that the evening was wonderful and the conversations seemed as if they had known each other for years! The next few days following that first date consisted of several phone calls and many texts, which eventually led to date #2, #3, and #4. The 4th date kicked off with Christian *officially* asking Janessa to be his girlfriend after just 10 days of knowing one another đ±đ As Christian says, âI had to get her off the market!â #IYKYK đ„° If ever there was a test to put a new couple through in the beginning months of their relationship, let it be a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Christian had been traveling pretty frequently for work, but with COVID-19, all travel was suspended and he began working from home. With Christian working from home, and Janessa trying her best to keep her footprint small from home to work and back, they spent A LOT of time cooking meals together, taking outdoor walks, binge watching various TV shows, and truly just getting to know each other with no other extraneous factors! Janessa is a KC girl through and through so just imagine her SHOCK when she found out Christian (who is from Indianapolis) is actually a New England Patriots fan đ€ą Despite their differing interest in NFL teams, their relationship is still going strong. The couple is lucky in love and looking forward to a happy future â€ïž
