Wineries
So many good wineries in Livermore but Bent Creek is one of our favorites with its lower-key vibe and cheaper prices. Tenuta Vineyards has something for everyone with their pick your own wine flight or drink it by the glass options and they even have beer!
Sycamore Grove Park
5 mile out and back walk through orchards and foothills. Also between 2 wineries. Relatively flat so a good option if you feel like moving but don't want something strenuous.
San Francisco
If you're up for a bigger adventure hit up SF where Janelle lived for over 5 years. North Beach, Chinatown, and Golden Gate Park offer some great experiences! Eat at Palmyra, Souvla, Cinderella Bakery, Golden Boy or Sodinis Trattoria.
Breweries and Beer Gardens
McKays Beer Garden was the location of our first date and in the middle of cute downtown Pleasanton. Go for drinks and then wander main street for plenty of food options. Shadow Puppet has our favorite beers and a more traditional brewery vibe. Homegrown Hops is outside and surrounded by vineyards and perfect for families.
Places to Eat
Bill's Cafe is our favorite spot for brunch. Get a savory breakfast dish and upgrade your toast to a pancake for the best of both worlds! Americano in Livermore has the BEST sandwich you'll ever eat (order the Southern Belle). Best pizza is Gay Nineties!
