What is the easiest way to get to the hotel(s)?

Answer

If you are driving, both hotels are roughly an hour’s drive from midtown Manhattan or just over an hour from Newark, LaGuardia, and JFK. The hotels are also accessible through a combination of public transportation and Uber/Lyft: - New Jersey Transit’s Port Jervis line will get you to Suffern in an easy 45-50 minute train ride from New York Penn Station, from where you can take a 10-12 minute Uber/Lyft right to the hotel! - The Shortline Hudson can take you directly from Port Authority on 42nd Street to Suffern as well. The bus ride is about 55 minutes. It’s the same 10-12 minute Uber/Lyft ride at the back end as well.

How can I get to/from the wedding venue?

Answer

We will have shuttles departing from the Crowne Plaza hotel to our ceremony at 3:30PM. While our reception ends (and after-party begins) at 11:30PM, shuttles will begin departing back to the hotel starting at 10:30PM. The shuttles back will run at 10:30PM, 11:30PM, 12:30AM, and 1:00 AM! Woot Woot! If you are staying at the Courtyard Marriott, you’re welcome to uber over to the Crowne Plaza and join the shuttle! Alternatively, you can drive straight to the venue; parking is available on-site.

Should I drive to the venue?

Answer

What we’re saying: We want you to relax and safely enjoy the party. That is why we have arranged complimentary transportation to and from the wedding. However, there is parking available on-site. What we mean: There’s an open bar and an after-party… please act accordingly.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. The welcome party (Friday), cocktail hour (Saturday), and reception (Saturday) will take place indoors. So that you know, the ceremony space is grassy. Ladies, we advise you to choose a wedge or block heel!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear an evening gown, midi or knee-length cocktail dress, or a nice jumpsuit or pantsuit. The suggested dress for the night before is cocktail attire. However, especially if you’re arriving late, we care way more about getting you fed and getting to see you than what you’re wearing.

Will there be a box of flip flops (or something to change into from uncomfortable heels)?

Answer

We want you to be on the dance floor all night long, so if you think you might need them, please bring along a pair of sneakers or shoes you'll be comfortable in! We'll definitely have a parking place for them!!!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is more important to us than presents. However, if you wish to give a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated. We have set up a cash fund wedding registry (see "Registry" link). Alternatively, a wedding card box will be at our reception!

- Hike at Harriman State Park or Dater Mountain - Explore the New Jersey Botanical Gardens - Book a tee time at New York Country Club or Spook Rock Golf Course - Take a yoga class at Flow Yoga or any number of other local studios - Shop at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets - Go thrifting in Nyack
