Miami, FL brought us together! Nate was visiting Miami on a boys trip with his friends while I happened to be wrapping up my first of two years living there. I was working as a Technical Recruiter and spent my weekends at the beaches, pools or out on boats. We crossed paths during his trip and decided to keep in touch. We grew fond of each other and decided to give a relationship a shot. Long distance quickly turned into both of us living in Dallas, and the rest is history!

Nate had a work trip in Miami and I met him there once it was over to enjoy an extra long weekend together. After a few days of being there, we prepared to meet some of my friends for dinner and drinks. As we walked from our hotel to the dinner location, we made a pitstop to take a photo on the beach. After we posed, he grabbed my hands and got down on one knee and popped the question! I was so surprised and then a group of his and my friends came out from behind a pile of beach chairs to congratulate us. It was the most thoughtful experience and we all had an amazing rest of our trip. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
