Despite us living less than an hour and half away from each other and a surplus of mutual friends, somehow our paths never crossed. While Moses studied university in the hills of the north east of England, Jamia chose the hustle of central London as her place of study. Both served full time missions in exactly the same time frame, one in the Caribbean seas and the other in the villages of Hong Kong. It's safe to say that before 2022, it just wasn't the right time. After returning home and experiencing a hefty handful of failed dating dilemmas, things began to align when we both attended a young adult convention in Coventry. Socials and numbers were exchanged and things were finally set in motion. But the real icing on the cake was that weeks before we met, we were both individually chosen to serve on the same London FSY (For the Strength of Youth) session as assistant coordinators taking place that summer. So by fire by force we would spend the next 8 months together. Despite never meeting or knowing about each other before, we can say it was about being in the right place at the right time.
