We didn't take nearly as long to go on a first date, but we did meet at work like Jim and Pam. Which may be cliche, but we are extremely lucky because the odds that we ended up working at the same place post graduation is hard to believe. If it weren't for a family friend's party it never would have happened. We were acquaintances at first and started to become friends after a few group lunches. After hundreds of walks by Rawan's desk to go to the "water fountain" James finally asked Rawan out for a lunch date. There was no denying that a friendship was quickly evolving into much more. One thing led to another and after 2+ wonderful years together James surprised Rawan on her birthday by getting down on one knee and asking for her hand in marriage. The love and joy we received from everyone right after is what truly made it a special day. We could not be more grateful and appreciative of our family, friends, and support systems for helping us become who we are today and we could not be more excited that you will be celebrating such a special day in our lives!
