Getting Around in New Orleans
While neighborhoods like the Garden District, CBD and French Quarter are delightfully walkable, for general transport, we recommend Lyft or Uber, which are affordable and plentiful. If you do rent a car, parking is available in most areas of New Orleans. And don't forget the famous St. Charles Streetcar line! The Virgin Hotel is one block off to the streetcar line. This is an easy way to travel Uptown and see St. Charles Ave! The streetcar costs $1.25. Have the exact amount ready or use the Le Pass app (linked below).
