James has a fond memory dating back to December 2001, when the Olympic Torch came through Leesburg. After seeing the torch, his mom let him skip school and have waffles and eggs at the Leesburg Diner. Located in downtown Leesburg!

Looking for an easy hike? Check out Balls Bluff Park, just outside of town. James spent miles and miles on these trails with his high school cross country team every summer!

Loudoun County High School - Running and Biking Path
The W&OD trail is a staple for the endurance-minded folks of Leesburg, Virginia. The W&OD trail starts in Purcellville, VA and goes all the way into Arlington, VA. The trail goes right through Leesburg and an easy place to hop on the trail is at Loudoun County High School where James attended. The trail has a paved path and the "horse trail" option, which provides a softer surface and a hillier terrain.
