Back in 2014, we met on Bumble and went on a couple dates. Things fizzled out very quickly. In 2018, we ran into each other at the most random place, Drip Café in Hockessin, Delaware. We didn't speak again until July 2020. Jim decided that my dog having surgery was a great way to slip back into my life. He messaged me asking how Memphis was, and then built up the courage to ask me out. As one of my favorite sayings goes, "Timing is everything."
