Let's go back to 2013. We were both trying to adjust to our new normal at a new job. We met at work during a time we both wanted to quit! Robert had just put in his 2 weeks' notice and I was just waiting on the call from someone who wanted to pay me more money while I was in college. Robert and I talked for hours when we meet, and I didn't want him to leave. This man asked me if he could change his shirt in front of me for his next job. I couldn't have yelled "yes' loud enough!! He had manners and he was fine! I got a quick look- at his back- and I was shocked. I loved what I saw- muscles! From that moment on, I considered him the best-looking therapist I could've asked for during that time. Robert moved to New Orleans shortly after our first date, but little did he know I traveled there bi-weekly to see family. Miles literally could not separate us. We continued to date in different states. During this time, we both noticed we had a love for traveling, and that just added more flames to our fire. We traveled, learned, and gain more knowledge about love during the years that followed. We've even added one more person to our flight itinerary. Together we have built a life full of love, laughter, joy, and patience. Marriage was always something I cherished and hoped for, but did not see coming when Robert proposed. I don't think I've ever been more surprised! I am beyond thrilled to be at this point in our lives, and I'm even more excited for our family to get a glimpse into our book of life together. After the wedding our story will continue. We hope that you all continue to pray with and for us! There is so much more to come.
