After college, both Charlotte and Jake moved to New York City to start their careers. It was quite the whirl-wind of getting to their actual first date, but ever since then, the two have been inseparable. Charlotte and Jake met the modern way: by swiping right on a dating app. From attending too many concerts to count, and traveling (aka eating) their way all across the US, Jake and Char have built memories to last a lifetime.
Back in Charlotte's hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, Jake and Char were there celebrating the wedding reception of her brother and his wife, Max and Inbar, after Covid restricted a lot of family and friends from attending the first celebration in Israel (including Jake). Char knew it was coming in the near future, but had absolutely no idea that it would be this weekend. Jake and Char went to walk their adorably delicious Golden Retriever, Tedy, to Mellon Park before meeting up with family for dinner. Right as they got up to the courtyard, Jake got down on one knee, popped the question, and then family and friends came rushing down to celebrate the engagement. It was absolutely perfect, and filled with so much love and joy surrounded by their families.
Together with their family and friends, Charlotte and Jake will be getting married in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA at The Omni William Penn Hotel.
