Tess and Jake met on their very first day as freshmen at Boston College. Tess's room, Chevy 300, quickly became the party room, and Jake (right downstairs in Chevy 201) was a frequent visitor. They became fast friends, and found themselves surrounded by an awesome group of people. In their friend group, Tess and Jake were often referred to as "Mom" and "Dad" - nicknames that stuck around for most of college. For the next few years, their friendship continued to grow, and you could often find them dancing at parties or playing beer pong together. In the fall of 2017, Tess and Jake found themselves both single at the start of senior year. Things fell into place rather quickly. Nervous about ruining their friendship, they tried to keep it casual. However, their college friends can attest to the fact that it was far from casual. Within a few months, they were inseparable, and they made their relationship official by Thanksgiving! This wedding is long-awaited by many, especially those who saw right through it when Tess and Jake said they were keeping things "casual."
