The Wedding Website of Madison Klein and Jake Watkins
Located on the beautiful Central Coast, San Luis Obispo is situated perfectly between San Francisco and Los Angeles. We have linked hotels we recommend and included directions on how to get to San Luis Obispo. Northern California: We recommend driving to San Luis Obispo. The standard route from the Sacramento area is to take Interstate 5 down to Kettleman City, where Highways 46 & 41 will take you the last stretch. Southern California: We recommend driving to San Luis Obispo. The standard route is to take Highway 101. If you are looking for a more scenic drive, take Highway 1, better known as the Pacific Coast Highway. Elsewhere: While you can fly into San Francisco or Los Angeles and rent a car, we recommend looking for flights directly into the San Luis Obispo Airport. They offer daily flights to/from Denver, Seattle, Phoenix, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. You can pick up rental cars located at the airport and Ubers are abundant in San Luis Obispo.
