Architectural Boat Tour
This is our absolute favorite activity to do in Chicago in the summer! Could you tell based on the fact that we're getting married on a river boat? There are plenty of companies to choose from, but this one is our favorite.
Wrigley Field
Although the Cubs are terrible, they're not as bad as the White Sox, and Wrigley Field is gorgeous no matter who is playing. Enjoy the nachos for us!
Shedd Aquarium
Although Chicago has a reputation for being freezing in the winter, it is also HOT in the summer! If you want to cool down, go to Jenny's absolute favorite place in Chicago - the Shedd Aquarium! Yes, she has a membership. Yes, she cries when she sees the whales.
Field Museum

We should go here more often, but there's so much to do in this city it's hard to keep up! Let us know which exhibit was your favorite.

Go here to get a fantastic view of Chicago! Don't go if you're afraid of heights.

We. Love. Chicago. Beaches. Grab a drink, get some french fries, play some pick-up volleyball, and have some fun in the sun!
Lakefront Trail
We are SO lucky to have the Chicago lakefront! Rent a bike or go for a run along Lake Michigan. It's one of the most relaxing and beautiful adventures you can have in this amazing city.
Chinatown
Don't even get us started! We love enjoying Dim Sum and boba tea in Ping Tom Memorial Park on the river. Our favorite Dim Sum restaurant is Triple Crown! Please don't tell us if you end up here, we'll be too jealous.
Pilsen (Little Mexico)
There is nothing not to love about Pilsen! Known as "The Mexico of the Midwest," hit up this neighborhood if you're craving some amazing street art and some of the best food in town. Our favorite restaurant is Canton Regio - they're cash only, but they'll give you a 1/2 kilo of grilled skirt steak that you will never forget for $30.
House of Blues Chicago
This absolutely incredible music venue is located right next to one of our hotels (The Hotel Chicago)! Not only is it gorgeous inside and historically rich, but the artists are amazing.
Kingston Mines
Established in 1968, this Blues Bar is one of the most famous in the country! The photo on our homepage was taken there on NYE 2025! So yeah, we highly recommend.
Chicago Deep Dish Pizza
FOR THE RECORD, if you're going to have an authentic Chicago deep-dish pizza, we highly recommend Pequod's (https://pequodspizza.com/) - however, it's harder to get to from downtown. So if you're looking for a more convenient experience, Giordano's or Lou Malnati's are your spots!
Starbucks Reserve Roastery
There are only six of these in the whole world, and we have one of them! Their espresso martinis will knock you off your feet. Proceed with caution!
Cindy's Rooftop
You can't beat this brunch with this view of Millenium Park! Just make sure you book your reservation far in advance, they fill up quickly!
Wiener Circle
Yes, this is real. Yes, we recommend it. But pssssst! There may or may not be a Chicago hot dog stand at our wedding so, choose your meals carefully!
Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!
This restaurant not only catered our engagement party, but is pretty much the place we go to for every special occasion. We have had better tapas here then we have had in some spots in Spain! There's a small one downtown that we like to go to for lunch sometimes during the work week (Little Ba-Ba-Reeba). Just do us a favor - please order the chorizo-wrapped dates and the sangria, you won't regret it!
Devon (Little India)
Our guilty pleasure is walking down Devon and eating at either Sabri Nihari or Ghareeb Nawaz, followed by dessert at Ajwaah Sweets! It's a hike from downtown but it is worth it!
