This is a small, regional airport located about 20 minutes from the town of Ketchum, where Sun Valley is located. It’s very convenient, but flights are more limited and can be pricier.

Boise Aiport (BOI)
Located about 2.5 hours from Ketchum but a very easy drive. You’ll find many more flight options here. There are lots of rental car agencies here so the best option is to rent a car and drive. Rental cars can typically be rented one-way and retuned at the Sun Valley airport so you won’t be required to rent for the whole weekend.

We have been able to make arrangements with a few hotels in Ketchum. There are limited rentals (via Airbnb, VRBO, etc.) available as well. If you choose a rental, please bear in mind that we’ll have shuttles running from the hotels below only. Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis are extremely limited and will not be a reliable mode of transportation. As such, it will be very important to be within reasonable walking distance of a shuttle stop.

Transportation Information
As mentioned above, we will have shuttles running from the listed hotels to the wedding events throughout the weekend. It is possible to walk from the downtown hotels to pretty much anything in town. Sun Valley resort is about a 1.25 mile walk from downtown on a paved path and there are free buses that run between the property and downtown. Again, Ubers and Lyfts are extremely limited, so if you plan to do much exploring outside of town, such as hiking or any outdoor activities, your best bet will be to rent a car. Car rentals are available at both the Boise and Hailey/Sun Valley airports.
