Brewery Crawl
Brooklyn and Queens are home to a number of outstanding breweries. One of our favorite ways to spend a weekend afternoon is to crawl through a couple before grabbing dinner. The link below shows our favorite ones to hit in Long Island City, the next neighborhood north of Greenpoint and in Brooklyn.
Smorgasburg
Outdoor food market on Saturdays from 11am - don't forget to bring cash!
Roosevelt Island
Take the tram across the river from E 60th in Manhattan and rent a Citi Bike to loop around the island. Be sure to check out the animal sanctuary, a former small pox hospital and the lighthouse on the northern tip. Once back in Manhattan, stop at The Jeffery for some great food.
Museum Mile
Check out all the museums NYC has to offer at Museum Mile (near where we live!) starting at 82nd street on Fifth Ave. The MOMA, Guggenheim and the Cooper-Hewitt are just a few of the highlights.
