Lodging Info
We recommend getting an Airbnb as opposed to the hotel. There are tons of great listings. We recommend getting a place in super-hip Williamsburg or Greenpoint to be relatively close to the reception venue. Or Park Slope or South Park Slope to be near to Prospect Park (and not terribly far from the venue either).

Car Rental Info
We don't recommend a rental car as public transport is more often the way to go in the city because parking is not the easiest if you're not used to it (and sometimes even if you are). We recommend hopping on the subway and or taking a cab/Lyft/Uber to get around New York

NYC Airport Info
NYC has a couple different airport options if you're flying in. LaGuardia is the busiest and closest to Queens and North Brooklyn (Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Bushwick etc), JFK is our preferred airport of choice and closer to South Brooklyn (Park Slope, Crown Heights, Ditmas Park, etc). Newark is the farthest airport but also usually the cheapest to fly into. Plan on 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours of transit time from this airport either by the train or shuttle to Penn Station, or cab/lyft/uber.
